This is not a farming sim.
While players may not own any farm land in Spellborne, they can still grow crops in small farm patches around the map. These crops are plants that are grown from seeds to be harvested for the purpose of profit, or food for the monsters. Generally, a crop can be seasonal.
Seasonal crops can be planted only during their designated season, and when seasons change, the crop will wither and die. Multi-season crops, however, will continue to grow during all specified seasons.
The grow times shown on this page are according to real world time, and not in-game clock.
Name | Grow Time (Hours) | Seasons |
Apple | 18 | All |
Banana | 18 | All |
Cherry | 18 | All |
Pineapple | 18 | All |
Watermelon | 18 | All |
Blueberry | 18 | All |
Grape | 18 | All |
Garlic | 18 | All |
Kale | 12 | Winter |
Parsnip | 12 | Summer |
Strawberry | 12 | Autumn |
Potato | 12 | Spring |
Corn | 12 | Spring |
Pepper | 12 | Winter |
Tomato | 12 | Autumn |
Apricot | 12 | Summer |
Fully grown crops that are ready to harvest will wither and die if not harvested within 12 hours.
If harvested in time, these crops can then be directly fed to the monster, or used to craft something useful.
Compost
When a crop that has died gets harvested, instead of a crop, the player gets compost.
This compost can be exchanged with a trader NPC for various items including new seedpacks. However, the exchange rate in this case may not always be favorable.
