Spellborne is an open-ended game, allowing players to achieve goals non-linearly.

There are various ways to get involved in game and many activities to choose from including farming, fishing, battles, crafting, completing quests, completing events and completing the book of knowledge.

Players can sign up for the game using their Google Accounts or Apple ID. This account is synced across multiple platforms allowing them to carry over their progress in the game from one device to another.

Characters

The game features three characters, and the character selection screen allows the player to choose a path of any one of these three characters.

Atom

Coming from a small family, Atom decides to leave home due to a sense of confinement and a burning desire to explore the world, with the lofty ambition of becoming the greatest hunter of all time. Lacking concrete plans on how to achieve this aspiration, the young boy embarks on a journey from town to town by train, eventually arriving in Yorokobi, where he encounters Bellatrix and Cosmo.

Bellatrix

A reserved girl hailing from an academically accomplished family, Bellatrix perpetually found herself in the shadows of her siblings. Driven by the desire to validate her intellect and prowess on the battlefield, she embarks on a journey to Yorokobi via train, enticed by rumors of a magnificent library located in a neighboring village known as Heiwa.

Cosmo

Born into affluence, Cosmo embodied the ideal child any parent could desire. However, the ease with which everything came to him left him yearning for more. Driven by a desire to explore the outside world and engage directly with nature, Cosmo embarked on a journey to acquaint himself with the various monsters that inhabit this enchanting realm.

Once the player has selected their character, they’re asked to choose a username, this username is useful for adding friends, leader boards and more.
