Notes

Season 1 Ends Soon!

The first season of Spellborne ends this November. Players will receive an in-game notification regarding the exact date one week in advance. The user points collected during Season 1 will undergo a system verification to remove all bots and cheaters, thus players may see changes in their rankings. The points will then be converted to a rank based token distribution during the token generation event. Further, the total airdrop for Season 1 has been extended to 12% which covers F2P players, Apartment and Monster NFT Holders.

Future Seasons

Starting with the second season, the gameplay points distribution will rely on PvP leagues Eras. An era is a fixed duration of 2 months for PvP leagues, at the end of which a snapshot is taken, player ELOs are reset and those points get added to the seasonal airdrop. Thus, players get a concrete idea of timeline as well as their airdrop distribution is not over-claimed by players coming in at a later stage.

Moving On-chain

The game will move to fully on-chain gameplay and data management with multiple feature releases. Apartment Staking: Starting with apartment staking, where apartment holders can stake their apartments to receive glory points. In-addition to other features such as Renting APIs. Game Marketplaces: Following staking, the game will introduce in-game marketplaces for players to be able to trade monsters, more information related to this will be shared in a separate update. Token: Once the marketplaces are live, and the game economy is mature, the token generation event will take place with all the past airdrop claims for Season 1 and Season 2 being realised. The token generation event may take place at any point in Season 2. (Communication related to this will start in advance giving players an idea of the exact date once it is final.) Happy hunting!
